Development of holistic user interaction concepts for truck and bus using user-centered design methods.

Integrate insights from user feedback, functional and legal requirements, and usability principles to address the changing needs of complex work environments.

Define detailed specifications while coordinating with technical teams, interface designers, and system providers to ensure a seamless and effective user experience.

Over-The-Air updates and features

Creation of an interaction concept for a seamless, workshop-free in-vehicle update service.

Design the user interface through a comprehensive process, from initial brainstorming to final alignment with internal stakeholders, system suppliers, and service providers.

Define interaction logic and workflows, ensuring compliance with technical standards and legal regulations.

Sound Design - Cabin and AVAS

Development of a sound language for warning and notification sounds in the vehicle.

Application of sounds in the vehicle according to volume and vehicle characteristics (e.g. cabin).

Coordination of sound design for an acoustic vehicle alerting system (AVAS) for the exterior driving sound of electric vehicles.

Developing prototypes for user research

Technical setup of vehicle mockups and seating bucks for user-centered design validation.

Oversee the integration of hard- & software prototypes within physical mockups, ensuring and enhancing their functionality during the development phase.

Collaborate with external partners to coordinate and guide their efforts in implementing solutions that enhance the usability and feasibility of prototypes.

Coordinate the setup of a driving simulator (SILAB) to establish a realistic testing environment, supporting in-depth user research and iterative design improvements.
